China & Silver Memorabilia
I have been really lucky over the years in finding these very scare items from Bowaters. Some have been bought from auction websites, other pieces I have bought from dealers I have contacted and a few items have been given to me. But I have also been lucky enough to take some of my collection of the actual ship.

The milk and cream jug on the left were found in the Captains drinks cabinet on board the m.v Norskald ex-Elizabeth Bowater. You can imagine my surprise and delight when I opened the cabinet door. It is amazing that they survived all those years and all those miles through several diffferent owners.

As can be seen they have the Bowater logo as do all the china, glass silver etc. These particular items were made by Ashworth Brothers, England but they were not the only suppliers to the company.

I continue to look for anything Bowater related to add to my collection
The photograph on the left shows a young Archie Sommerville, 2nd Steward holding a tray containing Bowater china similar to that in my collection. Above is another jug of mine
One of two cups and saucers that I have along with a teaspoon
Sugar Bowl and second teaspoon
Egg Cup
My second cup of a slightly different design to the previous one.
Third milk jug. This one was manufactured by T.Goode & Co.
Napkin ring and knives and forks. The knives and forks were purchased from a well known auction website. I have some spares!
